I have been told that I would be closing Monday, 1/14 on a resale DVC contract bought vis Timeshare Store. But my email also said that "the deed would be sent to Orange County for recording and would take 4-6 weeks."
Do I have to wait another 4-6 weeks before I can make DVC reservations? Most on this BB seemed to be syaing you are in DVC system in about 1 week after resale closes---what gives? THanks, Elaine

Once you have a member number and your in the DVC system you can book. The filing of the deed should have no bearing on when you can use your points.

Remember that once you close it will take a few days for your contract review and input into the DVC system. Then a few more days for your points to be manually added to your account. I would call MS every couple of days. Don't wait to receive your info by mail.
