I know this has been discussed before but what is the boards consensus on request. Better to email member services or do it through online check in ?

Just call and have it added if it's specific. Online check in has a basic drop down. Use that if it's relatively simple.

And is it correct that on-line check in has more limited requests, and you can only choose two. If I remember, MS will take 3 requests. Can someone tell me if my memory on that's correct?

They are more limited, but I'm not positive on the limit since I usually call them in.
