request for a studio room

What would be a couple different rom #'s or areas to request. Are there any studios that have views of the fireworks? Thanks!

Which resort are you staying at? Some have a few views of fireworks, but it may depend on your location. For example, you can often see fireworks at OKW, but you might need to watch them from outside. At BCV, you can often see fireworks from Illuminations from the woods side of the resort. At VWL, you are usually not able to see fireworks from the villas. AKV, no fireworks from there. BWV, you might see some fireworks from various locations - either Illuminations or Disney Hollywood Studios.

Just don't request by room number. If that room is occupied, they have no idea what you want. However, there usually isn't a "fireworks" view at DVC resorts.

It depends on the view you reserve. For points reservations, BWV has standard view, preferred pool/garden view, preferred boardwalk view. The standard view has some fireworks views (top floor, across from the bus stop) and preferred boardwalk view also has fireworks view.

Although the standard view and boardwalk view rooms for those nights were booked over a month ago. You'll get a preferred view.

We've had lousy luck with getting any room locations met at Boardwalk, but for preferred view you basically have "over the theme pool" "over the quiet pool" or "over the canal" - there are a few other rooms, but not in any quantity. Most people like higher floors, but lower floors are more convenient - there is one set of elevators near the lobby and the hallways can be kind of long - so a lot of BWV veterans use the stairs a lot.
