Reqests at WBC? Arriving late questions/fireworks questions

Hello Disfans,

We are staying at WBC the last week of October, and due to crappy flight times, we are arriving at the resort probably close to midnight on a Friday night.

My questions -

Where is the closest places to get a good breakfast for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kiddos ages 7,5, and 14 months)? I plan to do grocery shopping on Saturday and start our tour of the parks on Sunday, but we will need to get a quick bite to get started Saturday morning.

Can you still make requests at WBC? We booked through Ken, and he said that they don't do requests for room types (we got a high chair and pack N play, so no worries there). We'd love a fireworks view (just like everyone else, LOL) but if we can't get that, do they still open rooms for viewing?

Anyone else arrived this late and have any tips - appreciate your advice disboarders, it's always awesome!

Regarding breakfast I would head to the closest Cracker Barrel. Grocery shopping, you are not that far from Walmart. Regarding room requests you are pretty much out of luck. Wyndham allows owners with specific statuses to request certain units but even those requests have no guarantee of being honored. The best place for fireworks views is in the Presidential lounge on the 17th floor of tower 6. To get there you have to have a room key that operates the elevator and also unlocks the door of the lounge. Alternatively you can go to the tower 6 elevators and hope to find a kind guest who is staying in a tower 6 Presidential suite who will let you up there.
