Has anyone ever dealt with SellMyTimeshareNOW.com to buy DVC resale? If so, any issues? Any other resale company recommendations? Thanks!

I have not successfully bought a contract with them but I have tried to work with them in the past. I found them to be inefficient and in my opinion they did not specialize in DVC. I have worked successfully with Fidelity and The Timeshare Store, whose banner is at the top of the page. Both are reputable and knowledgeable. You may be able to get a lower price through Fidelity, but the service at The Timeshare Store is more comprehensive. Read the threads on the forums and you will get a good idea of the process and what's involved. Good luck. :)

We used The Time Share Store and I would use them again in future if we ever wanted to buy/sell. They are very quick in reply, not pushy at all and do offer some quality advice.

Agreed...don't use...we saw the perfect contract...made an offer of asking price, never hear for over a week....then they weren't sure if it was still available...then confirmed it was sold...and would check their listing and call us back...that was two months ago...NO return call...

I made an inquiry about a contract with them on January 18th. I just received an e-mail on March 26th in response to that inquiry. :confused3

In the same amount of time that it took them to respond to my initial inquiry, I completed a sale on a similar contract with TSS. We closed on 3/25. I've been VERY pleased with their level of service and communication.

I'm working with Shontell Crawford right now. So far so good :)

I agree. Shontell Crawford @ DVCbyResale is a pleasure to deal with- fast, efficient, & professional.

Don't waste your time with Timeshare Broker Services either. They are affiliated with Sellmytimesharenow and are not very efficient or professional.

Yes I have dealt. With them, due to close on Monday 23rd February. No problems with Agent, that was all quick, my problem has been the closing company they use. I completed all the paperwork 2nd December but they didn't send it to Disney till 31st December. Disney,s letter regarding ROFR was dated 23rd January but I did not hear anything from the closing company until 9th February. Also the closing costs are very high!

I would stick with one of the well-known resellers who specialize in DVC resales.

I've personally used The Timeshare Store three times buying and twice selling and have had outstanding service from start to finish every time.

I wouldn't use them, they are 100% focused on their commission and do not specialize in DVC- I have had a bad experience with them. The only company we've ever used was DVC Resale Market ( I think I am supposed to post a link as not to break the rules? www.dvcresalemarket.com). The lady I worked with was very nice and knowledgeable. I would also stay away from Fidelity- another very bad experience. Just my 2 cents :-)

We bought through DVC Resale Market - Nick Cotton. Wonderful service! Even after the deal was done I had a question and he responded immediately. I will definitely look at their resales first when we're ready to add on!

I've used fidelity http://www.fidelityresales.com twice now. Although they don't respond very quickly they are fine... A little annoyed about a few thing but they are legit.

They had the best deals, so I went with them. I can resell both my dvc purchases for more than I paid. They do charge a $195 buyers admin fee, but I just add that into my cost per point.

I personally felt TSS http://www.timesharesale.com was a little snooty and tried to convince me to up my offers. So, I went with the listing with the best deal, and am happy with my purchases.

I haven't tried the other brokers.

I bought 3 yrs ago for our BWV. We just closed last week for our BLT.

Again, note I can sell both my contracts at a profit now--- even the one I just closed!!! So, I am happy with fidelity even though they aren't as responsive as others!!

Good luck!

My experience:

Timeshare store--actually signed contract and sent earnest money only to have them say oops, wrong resort. I ca7ncelled the deal.

**** *****-- bought bwv and SSR contracts from them. Very quick to respond to emails

Fidelity--slow and their phone system can get you to people not in the dvc department. Still, I bought VGC from them and it all went well. They seemed to have better asking prices for VGC in general when I was looking.

I think My timeshare issue was unusual as most people are happy with them. Just stick with one of the companies that specializes in dvc

My wife and I bought, sold and are buying again with **** and **** at **********.com.

They are so helpful with my many questions, explain the process very clearly and there were no surprises. Now that we are buying again, I would never choose anyone else.
