Reporting Back - Disneyland Express
I heard about the Disneyland Express Bus, by Gray Line, about a month before our trip. We were flying into San Diego to visit with the Grand Parents for 2 days, 1 day Sea World, 7 days at DL staying at Desert Inn and Suites.
I used AAA to buy the DL Passes and when Anna ask if there was anything else we needed I ask her about the Disneyland Express Bus, from DL to LAX. It only took a minute and they were added to our purchase.
When the DL Doc package came it had our DL Hopper Passes, 1 Magic Morning, Plus our printed transfer passes for the Disneyland Express Bus. And a flyer with times for pick-ups at the area Hotels.
When we arrived at the Desert Inn and Suites they immediately knew what and where to board the Disneyland Express Bus.
We were flying out late on Southwests 7:55 pm flight. I had been warned to expect a lot of traffic to the airport. So, at 4:00pm we got our bags from the lockers at the hotel and walked a short way, in front of the Tony Romas to a Purple Pole with a Gold Finial to wait for the Disneyland Express Bus.
At 4:25pm on the Dot the Disneyland Express Bus was at our stop. The bus stopped, the driver jumped down and loaded our suitcases in the hold. Then we Boarded. We were the Drivers last run and we were his last 3 passengers! We had an Express bus to LAX. The Driver had a very pleasant conversation with my Dh on the way.
By far this was the easiest connection of the whole trip!! The Disneyland Express Bus was so easy, to catch, to ride, and to arrive at the airport ready to tackle anything!! Lax was so easy too, we sailed through security. Our Airline was Southwest. It is the first set of gates on the right. It was a short walk to our gate. All had gone So well, we still had a 2 hour wait to board.
The Disneyland Express Bus -
Ill do this again and recommend it to all of you my friends!!
