My last trip of a few weeks ago, I encountered 3 CMs who were outstanding.
So of course, I never got the follow up survey with the question about outstanding CMs.
My question is, do I just email member.relations@disneyvacationclub.com or is there another division?
One of the CMs who went above and beyond works at Member Relations, so writing there might be redundant.
Thanks.

Now days companies love good publicity and fear bad ones. That's why being praised publicly mean so much more for them. In the old days a hand written or typed letter on formal letterhead stationary got people's attention. Times have changed.

Unfortunately, that account is not being monitored at the moment. It's one of the beefs I have with WDW. It couldn't have cost that much to monitor their officials social media outlets. But yes, this was my method too pre-covid.

That’s fine, but Twitter doesn’t have the reach people think it does.

It was not to just spread the word. Disney used to monitor the twitter account and if you tweeted #castcompliment, they would get it to the CM's manager and the CM themselves. They were always
on the ball and very, very responsive. If you didn't give enough information to identify the CM, they would almost immediately respond back and ask where you were and what you were doing so they could find the person.

I sent some compliments to guest.services@disneyworld.com and got immediate responses.
Thanks. I will try that. I have one CM who I promised to mention in the survey that never came. He took me and a woman and her 2 daughters backstage at Pembe savanna at Kidani Village! When I told him I was going to mention him, he insisted I also mention the Caretaker who spent almost a half hour telling us about the animals she was feeding.

Unfortunately Disney stopped monitoring their @wdwtoday Twitter account (its header says parks are open but this account is not being monitored) so another method would have to be used.
I just received a video on my phone from Disney. It promotes the use of #CastCompliment, and shows the actors going around to CMs who were mentioned in Tweets using that hashtag.

Our last trip we were celebrating my mother’s 70 birthday and my sister’s 40 birthday. We did not have the rooms we asked for ( upper floors) but on our third day had in each rooms a large cake good for 8 people , with cards and balloons . It was awesome .

We could start a thread on good experience with CM . I love reading good news these days . ♥
Well, here was the result from my asking the above question:
I wanted to compliment a CM who took us "backstage" at Pembe Savanna, Kidani Village in January 2021.
I was back at AKL a few weeks ago. They now have a regularly scheduled tour "backstage" at Pembe. I mentioned to the CM who was letting us in that a CM let me and a woman and her 2 daughters in last January. She asked me if his name was Marty. Yep. Turns out he is her husband! She told me that he was indeed told by his supervisor that a compliment had come in. So writing does work!
