Report vs. Contact Us

I have been pondering over this for a little while now. I know that the contact us and the report (seek help immediately) should be used for different things. Like if someone were to report an innappropriate signature or see people using bad language, which one do you report to? Just curious, any response would be great! :)
 
Personally, I think that report is the best way to go because the "contact us" portal, also known as the "black hole" ;) rarely sends people messages back. I almost always use the report button, and I only use the contact us portal for Push's Trash Trivia and old Community Leader applications. Although, it just occurred to me that the contact us portal actually lets you use normal words (i.e one instead of on). Either way there are benefits, but I personally like the report button the best. :confused3

Actually on the VMK homepage newsletter area in the Safety Corner there is some good examples of when to use each option of reporting stuff. If something is just annoying then contact us is the best route. Yes you may not get a reply back but in my experience they have gotten much better at at least acknowledging your message.

The in game report is more for serious issues like language against values and therefore should almost be treated like a 911 call in a way.

Personally I usually save reporting for only stuff I find very serious and therefore so far have only used the in game report.
