Renting townhouse, would like to make simple crockpot meals in the am+++

I'm not a fan of those prepackaged spice mixes you see in the pasta/gravy mix aisle but they could be a real helper in situations like this since you don't want to buy a bunch of spice bottles.

But I'd plan my meals and create spice packets for meals at home in ziplock bags, label them and then pack them in my luggage.

What a great idea! My favorite easy crockpot dinner :

Beef & Peppers

1.5 lb stew meat
2 cans tomato soup (undiluted)
1 packet onion soup mix
1 bag frozen pepper strips (green yellow and red is what i use but any will do)

Dump it all in the crockpot on low all day.. SUPER YUMMY.. dont let the tomato soup throw you, it does not taste like soup at all- take it from someone who is not a tomato soup fan normally

Cook up some 5 minute rice, spoon the beef & peppers over rice and you are good to go. Cheap too

i'm trying this one.... do you put stew meat in frozen or do you brown any?
