Hello everyone. I’m trying to play ahead for our cruise at the end of October (fingers crossed.). My family wants to snorkel but I’m concerned about renting equipment and whether or not it will fit my husbands large feet. He wears 15w shoes. Has anyone had any experiences renting equipment with that size feet?

I haven't rented that exact size but when you go the flippers are done by shoe size. I do not know the exact sizing they go up to but I am not sure what their max size is. You may be able to call DCL and find out. Hopefully someone else can chime in. The largest we rented was size 13 and if I recall correctly there were larger ones near where they grabbed my husband's.

You could also look into bringing your own if you're really worried. You can bring your own gear completely and snorkeling is then free (you still have to go to the rental desk to get a yellow life vest but that's free to use), or if he just wants to get the flippers you can rent the rest of the gear there.

We always have too much stuff in our luggage to bring masks but flippers I'm sure would fit in a suitcase easily without taking up too much room

I don’t think they run out. You could go try the fins for him and not rent them if they don’t fit. I don’t think it’s necessary to do ahead of times. Hopefully, others can comment if I’m wrong,
