Renting Points

I’m new to the process of renting points and had a question regarding the changing of names. If an owner puts a reservation in my name and it’s confirmed through DVC, can the owner then change the name on the reservation or can only the lead on the reservation change it at that point?

The reservation belongs in the control of the owners until you check in.

They are the only ones who can change the guests or do anything with it.

Different owners have different rules so be sure you know all the terms as some don’t even allow name changes later on.
