Renting points for BWV: Can I still use the grocery service?

I'm renting points from a DVC member for a BWV - can I still use the grocery service offered by the resort?

I'd like to preorder groceries but can't find a list (I can't access the member only web site) - how do I go about ordering the groceries?

The resort can fax the grocery list to you. Just call the resort (I don't have the number in front of me here) and request to be switched to the store. They can provide the list - with prices- and then you can simply fax your choices to them for delivery.

You might also consider using a towncar for transport from the airport. They will allow a 30 minute grocery stop on the way. That would offer a better selection and price than what is available thru the resort.

I would definitely think of doing a grocery run myself instead of doing the resort grocery list. I just got a look at those prices, and WOW!! Let's just say they are not that competitive.

I definitely wouldn't preorder again. I thought it was a selection not available at the resort when I ordered at WL- but basically they go downstairs to the store and bring what you order to the room and charge a $5 fee on top of already inflated prices - so I would suggest just going down to the boardwalk store yourself and save the delivery fee (or better yet - go off property)....

What all can I get at the boardwalk store?

I'd "need" small amt. milk, beer, wine, caffine free diet coke, maybe some bagles with cream cheese, butter, etc...

I just checked out the grocery list for BWV and the only things you've listed which are on the list are milk and butter. Everything else you listed isn't available. If those are the things you really want, I suggest stopping off at a grocery store before arriving. There are MANY very close to WDW that offer everything and at competietive prices. IE, 1/2 gallon of milk at BWV $2.95 6 pack of Diet Coke, not Caffine Free Diet Coke, $5.85, etc.
