Renting Points? - As A Canadian?

Hi Everyone,

My apologies if there is another thread on this topic. I tried, but could not locate one.

After watching the DVC Show yesterday (November 4/2019) on transferring points, Jerry mentioned that DVC Store won't do point transfers for international owners due income/tax paperwork etc.

Since this is the case, my question is does the apply to renting points as well as an international owner? Are there any international owners here (reading this) that have rented/transferred points and if so, what was the process you took?

Hopefully someone has knowledge in this? Thank you for your help in advance,

I should clarify a little, as I think I missed an important part in my post, sorry about that!

We are currently DVC owners from Canada, and if we ever decide we want to rent out or transfer our points, we were wondering if that is something available to international owners?

After hearing Jerry's comments on yesterday's DVC show, it sounded like international owners can not rent out or transfer their points.

...But there is another company that rents points and they are based in Canada. I use them when I want to rent out my points. Shouldn't be hard to find with a google search.
