Renting in DVC

Hi all
New to the DVC
Do you have to own your own points or are you able to rent off an existing meber to try the DVC experiance
Might sound like a stupid question but any help would be appreciated

You can rent to get the experience. Dis has a DVC forum on the US site with lots of info about renting. Rough guide is approx $10 a point.
