Renting ECV from reliable company in WDW area?

I did a google search today for renting a scooter in WDW. I was taken aback at how many companies are in this business. How to decide on which company to go with? It sounds like all of them are cheaper than renting at the parks; plus the advantage of having it at the hotel and downtown disney as well.
Also, I understand there are about 5 companies that work with Disney so they can leave the ECV at the bell stand - or wherever.
Any advice will be appreciated. We're going there next week.
