The other day someone mentioned about Disney closing early for a private party. My question is how much does it cost to rent the MK for the evening?
I think that would make for a great birthday present for me when DW wins that big lottery

I think when DL was closed for Miley Cirrus 16th birthday it was rumored to be 200 thousand.

Miley must have gotten a deal as she works for Disney. When we rented the MK for my 40th birthday it was $750,000. But that included a free turkey leg and I got to ride down the wire dressed as Tink.

We just came home from WDW November 11 and on November 9th MK was closed at 6:30 PM for a private party and CM we know told us that was $400,000 for the evening. There was no bus service from or to MK from 6 PM for the rest of the night

That was only a half earlier than most of the week.

CM we know told us that was $400,000 for the evening.

Disney does not divulge that type of info, especially to CMs. I heard that figure too, which I believe to be someone's guess.

There was no bus service from or to MK from 6 PM for the rest of the night

Buses run for two hours after park closing or until the park is clear. So the buses ran until at least 8:30 that night.

We were gonna rent DL for D's birthday,,but they wanted me to pay xtra for her birthday cake.
And well, ya'll know how cheap, umm, FRUGAL I can be,,so it didn't happen.

This just goes to show you there is always something you can learn about Disney. I've never heard that people can actually rent the MK for a private party!

While I love the lavishness of this idea, and would certainly invite all my Fiends to join me, I am too practical. If I had that kind of money to throw around, I'd rather make my Fiends lives easier by paying off their bills. Then, their budgets could include more trips to the Fort!!! It's all about the Fort!!

We heard the fireworks go off at 6PM that night and were like "***?" We couldn't figure out what was going on because no matter what the schedule, that didn't fit.

So, Private Party. Neat.
