Renting car at Car Care Center?

We are wanting to rent a car just for two days for side trips to Harry Potter and Kennedy Space Center during our WDW vacation. Has anyone done this from the car care center? Is it easy? Will they pick us up at our resort to get the car and/or bring the car to us? Thanks for any advice.

We do this on most of our trips. Alamo will send its shuttle to pick you up from your resort or one of the parks. You do have to call them to reserve the pick-up time and tell them how many in your party. I would advise giving them about 24 hours' notice, even if you call from home. Be at the meeting spot at least 5 minutes earlier than the time they give you.

They have maps there if you need some assistance getting around.

When you drop off the car, the shuttle can take you back to your resort or drop you at a theme park. If you want to be dropped at Magic Kingdom, they will leave you at the TTC.

I got a much better rate from the Wyndam Hotel at DDT vs. CCC. My rate was 82 for 2 nights and 4 hours (using at potter and returning to Wyndam location who then shuttles for free to the Poly.). Using CCC for drop off over doubled the rate and agent told me CCC was more of a drop stop for a broken car etc. and you pay a premium to rent from there. So fyi...
