Renting at Airport vs Disney Car Care Center

Advantages and disadvantages of each?

We want the car for the entire trip so I was leaning towards airport pickup, but do both drivers (spouse) have to be present at pick up? One of us was going to ride ME with kids and luggage. Can the other pick up so long as we have both driver's licenses with us? If not I'm thinking that's the advantage of using Disney Car Care Center. Just get the car after we check in at resort.

Bear with me. No experience renting cars, let alone getting a good price. AAA member, if that matters.

If you want a car for your entire WDW vacation, you might as well rent and return at airport. Overall, you'll use less of your valuable vacation time.

As long as your rental car company allows the spouse to drive at no additional charge, only the person whose name is on the car reservation needs to pick up the car and present a driver's license.

AAA has rate codes and coupon codes for Hertz. These can be quite good.

National automatically allows the spouse to be the second driver. No id needs to be shown.

Less cost, less hassle more free time at the airport. I much prefer that anymore. With my Thrifty blue chip I went to the garage and drove off.
