Renting a SeaRaycer

Do they go pretty fast?
They aren’t super fast or powerful, but are small enough that it is still fun. Weight really affects them, so heavily loaded ones can feel quite slow.

I can’t wait to try these...I plan on renting one on the day we switch over to the Poly. My daughter and I are super excited at possibly getting some glimpses of River Country!
We love seeing River County and Discovery Island. You can cross the water bridge to the seven seas lagoon too.

Just a note, the Sammy Duvall watersports activities will close on August 31. This will not affect the boat and Sea Raycer rentals at the resorts, but does affect the jet skis, water skiing, and parasailing from the Contemporary.

Well shoot. I guess that makes my decision easier about jet skiing. I honestly didn’t even know you could do all of this at Disney. I’ve seen the pontoon boats and sea raycers but didn’t know about all of the others. I think if Dh and I do the sea raycers we will each want our own.

Hmmm Dh is a bigger guy so maybe he wouldn’t like this...

I just watched the Tim Tracker video from February when they rented a Sea Raycer. They did mention that the driver can't use a camera or phone at all which is kind of a bummer. I can't decide if we would rather go faster with no pictures/videos or go together slowly and still be able to take pictures/videos. Tough decision...

I tell my girls all the time just make sure you hold onto your phone because if it happens to slip out of your hand and into the water its lost forever...

Weight limit is 320lbs. The driver is not able to use their phone/camera but a passenger can. I was able to sneak some photos every chance I had when I noticed the patrol not watching.

So they let you take your phone you just aren’t supposed to take pictures?
