Has anyone had a good experience, renting a mobility scooter to be delivered to the port at Canaveral? Is there a company that delivers the scooter directly to the state room?

Also, people that use mobility scooters-

Were they easy to get up and down the gangway at ports? Especially at castaway key.

Thank you for any advice

For DCL they are placed in the Stateroom, or at least that was always our experience. Scoot-A Round as well as Special Needs at Sea both had that policy. As far as getting up and down the gangway Cast Members are normally there to help and for safety reasons. We've never had any problems. I'd recommend Special Needs at Sea.

Special Needs at Seas leaves the ECV’s right at the port, outside the terminal, so, you get to use it to get on the ship. We arrived by DCL transportation, and a CM went around to the other side and brought the ECV right to me.

That's apparently fairly new, but even better...👍

My experience was in September on the Wish . It was a Halloween on the High Seas cruise on September 8-12.

Outside the United States ECV’s are not a thing, as most countries aren’t tuned into this. It amazes me the amount of usage here.
