What if we rent a DVC (through The Time Share Store or Davids Rentals) - leaning towards BWV studio
We read there are not many BWV basic view studio villas available - but we would secure one 11 month before we go. Our employers would need that kind of notice anyway. :rotfl2:

Jet Blue in our area does not arrive to MCO till 5:11 PM - maybe out of the airport by 6:15 PM, do a food shop, and arrive at our rental studio villa by 7:30 PM?

Most rooms are assigned by 4 PM - so most likely our BWV basic view rental studio villa will be ready when we arrive after 7 PM.

But - The BWV has a limited # of BWV basic views for their studio villas - could we get bumped out of rental reservation (not have a room), when we arrive after 7 PM, if a BWV basic view is unavailable?

Could we be bumped up a view such as pool, EPCOT, DHS, or BW?

:confused3Please help.
We normally arrive at MCO by 11 AM and have never arrived in the evening.
Not sure why JetBlue changed their fight schedules for our area.

No. DVC does not overbook rooms like hotels. They only book what's available. Your room will be waiting for you.

Very nice - so if we do a food shop - we can bring it directly to our room ? Do they have luggage racks we can use for all our bags, to bring to our rented BWV studio ? DH would return the luggage rack after we get to our room ?

They have bell hops that will take your luggage and any bags to your room for you. I've never tried to use one of the luggage carts on my own; at least not at Disney.

cool :)
we will have tips ready for them !

Bell Services will not allow guests to use the carts. I was told there were liability issues - mostly related to tips?? Anyway, we found it was easier just to let them bring the stuff up. The long halls are even longer if you are carrying groceries and your luggage.

If you're driving, it's sometimes faster to park and use the side stairways to get to Standard View rooms. We like to request ground floor as well, so no stairs. Last year, we were the 2nd to last set of rooms :) It took less than 5m to roll my suit cases from my room to my car (parked in the 3rd or 4th spot).
