:bounce: Hi I have been to Disney a few times but never had to rent a car so I am clueless. I definitely want to rent from a company right in the airport because we are traveling with an infant and I want to make it as easy as possible. . Who is the most convenient and most reliable? I know that you can get codes from Mousesavers but you have to play around with them. We are going Oct 28-Nov 6 so when would be the best time to book? Thanks

We've rented from Budget and National. In both cases signed up for the frequent renter program and proceeded straight to the garage instead of checking in at the desk. In April we arrived at 11:00 PM and there had to be 25 people in a very slow moving line - people were not happy. We were thrilled to see the sign for FastBreak members to check in across the street in the garage - no lines, no waiting. We also rec'd a coupon for a double upgrade so our 7 day rental of an intermediate for $97 turned into a luxury Crown Victoria for $123 taxes and fees included.

We just got back yesterday and rented through National after signing up for their Emerald Club through mousesavers.com (it is free through a link there). We used the discount codes there, too. We got our bags, walked across the street to the parking ramp, went to the Emerald Asile, picked out a car (a red Impalla with a HUGE trunk), got in the car, drove to the exit, gave the guy my driver's license and coupon, got the license back and off we went.

Bringing the car back in, drove to the drop off, they had our receipt printed before we got our bags out of the trunk and off we went to the check in stand. Easiest car rental I have ever used!

Yep, I second this experience. We just did the same thing....May 28th through June 5th.

golfgal-
Quick question for you...I was just going to sign up for the Emerald Club and the terms say no coupons are allowed?? Did I read the terms incorrectly?? They let you use the coupon right? Did they give you any problems with it? (Doesn't sound like it, but just checking.)
Thanks

I use both National and Dollar, but lately National has had the best rates.

I just love EA and YES you can use coupons. You can't use an upgrade coupon when using EA but the ent. book coupon is accepted.

We always use National since I have an Emerald Isle card. It's great to just walk across to the garage, pick any car I want, and not have to deal with counter service.

You can use coupons when using Emerald Aisle. You just hand the Entertainment coupon to the attendant when checking-out. I guess it's the upgrade coupons that don't work using the EA.

We find using Quick Rent through National is the most convient.

I've always used National for vacation and have always been happy.

Unlike Emerald Club, with Quick Rent you have to go to the counter with a coupon.

The only problem with Emerald Aisle is choosing a car.

PT Cruiser...Wide-track Grand Prix...white....silver...burgundy.... :rotfl2:

I will never use anyone else again!

Another vote for national- If you join the Emerald Club you just go to the garage, pick out your car and drive away! It's just as easy coming back. They stack multiple coupons as well, making them nicely priced...

ETA- Book ASAP and check back OFTEN! Their prices go dramatically up/down in as little as a day!

We were able to use 3 different discounts on our rental, the WWEB code that was out, the Entertainment Book coupon and the Priceless discount. They took the coupon at the exit, that was it. I got my confirmation emal and no hidden charges, no extras, the price was exactly what they quoted me on the web.
