Renting a car from Port Canaveral

We're thinking of flying back a day later since the ship arrives in Florida early and spending the day at Disney. How can I rent a car from Port Canaveral for one day. I know Avis has a location that many DIS users use to save on ground transfers but how would I get there?

Avis has a shuttle that will pick you up or drop you off at the port. The shuttle is usually there waiting when the ship docks. But, just in case, you should take the phone number for that Avis office off of their website.

You can grab a Radisson or Avis shuttle from the ship--very easy, convenient and the Avis people are great! I would suggest reserving a car ahead of time as they sell out really fast! We just did this on our 5/25 western and it was a breeze!

I didn't realize there would be shuttles at the port, that's great. It will save me the added expense of renting a car for the whole week plus parking fees. Thanks for the help.
