Renting a car for Shuttle Launch

It's looking like Ernesto will delay the shuttle launch until our vacation and that's something my husband is dying to see. But we're arriving via Magical Express and won't have a car. Is there a place to rent a car at WDW? And how long would it take to drive to the Cape?

Yep, both Alamo and National have rental facilities on site. They are located at the Car Care Center and the Dolphin resort. Time wise, I would say around an 1 1/2 drive, but traffic will be horid since everyone is going to see the launch.
