Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with renting a car at Pop. Can you rent a car cheaper right at the resort or would it be better to rent from the airport. I heard it is cheaper to take ME and then rent the car at Pop. If you have info please let me know. Thanks! :worship:

There is no rental location at Pop. But you can rent from the Car Care Center on property. The companies there are Alamo and National. They will pick you up at your resort if you call in advance.

You can also get a shuttle over to the Dolphin which has National and Alamo. We are staying at the Beach Club and using ME and then renting from Alamo at the Dolphin. It was cheaper than renting at the airport.

It is not always cheaper to rent away from the airport. When we needed to get to Tampa, we decided to rent a car. We were at the Dolphin so renting there would have been perfect. But, the cost to rent there was much higher than renting at MCO. In fact, we took a towncar service to the Dolphin and then back to MCO, in order to rent the car...and it was still cheaper vs renting the car at the Dolphin. Go figure!
Check rates at both locations before committing.

The avis desk is in the Hilton, the dollar desk is in the Regal sun and their is a budget desk at the doubletree. All are on Hotel Plaza Blvd at DTD. Hope this helps.
