Renting a camper for our next Disney trip, here we come Fort wilderness!

WOW! That is quite a competitive rate! You can actually stay in CampAtTheFort's 5th wheel in a Premium site, during the most expensive rate season (over Christmas) for less than a cabin during the cheapest rate season! $135 + $130.50 ($116 + 12.5% tax) = $265.50 in a Premium at Christmas! Versus $265 + 12.5% = $298.13 for a cabin in value season!

Awesome deal!

Wow, I have never "ran" the numbers. I just priced it so most everyone could afford to go on vacation!

Just to drive home the point, here are some apples-to-apples comparisons...

Full-Hookup during Value:
$135 + $64.13 ($57 + 12.5%) = $199.13 in a full-hookup during value vs.
$265 + 12.5% = $298.13 for a cabin during value season! $99 a night less!

Preferred during Peak:
$135 + $105.75($94 + 12.5%) = $240.75 in a preferred during peak vs.
$355 + 12.5% = $399.37 for a cabin during peak! $158.63 a night less!

Premium during Holiday:
$135 + $130.50 ($116 + 12.5% tax) = $265.50 in a Premium at Christmas vs.
$410 + 12.5% = $461.25 for a cabin during Christmas! $195.75 a night less!

Once again, AWESOME DEALS!

It really is a much better deal.. I'm so glad Tina offers this service.

Well...the cabins start at over $265 a night (value season...cheapest rate), CampAtTheFort.com's rental rate is a flat $135 a night, plus the site fee...so YES...its much less expensive!!!

That is a big savings! Great decision to rent from CampAtTHE Fort!
I'm glad your going October at the Fort is the Best!

Yes...the Halloween pics from this past October really made me feel like I BELONG there for Halloween!!! Im already getting ideas together for my costume.....I guess I have to force myself to remember that my kids need costumes too!!! ;) (keep repeating it...."its for the kids....its for the kids...its not about me, its for the kids...)

I will never know why people think Disney is for kids. The older I get the more I like it.

Now you have me doing the math. DH likes the tent site $ better yet, but I like the idea of air or heat and windows that don't let the cold air in! I'll have to start saving now since I know it will be a little longer now before we can get back. Trying to figure out a way to come even if it is just to camp. You're gonna have an awesome time Rog.

The first two times I went to Disney World was before we had children. We fell in love with the place. It's a completely different experience with the little ones.. and I enjoy bringing them while they are little and still believe they are meeting "movie stars" when they meet Mickey and friends.. I will definitely enjoy future trips without kids down the road.

Disney is for everyone!

Hey Rog, Congradulations on the upgrade. But I bet you will want one real bad after using Tina's. I have a friend that I go to races with that has a 5ver. Its hard to go back into to my pop up after being in his huge camper.

On a side note Im trying to figure a way to be there in October but it doesn't look good. My vacations are scheduled in Feb, Jun, Sept and Dec. I had originally planed on only going in December this year to see the Christmas stuff but now considering going before that and getting an AP. I think the money will even out and we get more days at Disney. It's just hard to give up free dining or the new 40 pct off code I just got. But I want to try the Fort at least once this year.

I'm so excited to stumble across this thread! I've always wanted to stay at the Ft. but we do not want to pull the pop up all the way from Tx plus staying a week in the thing is miserable. I was just saying the other day how I wish there was a place that would rent a 5th wheel and deliver and set it up. It's perfect!

Tissa, have you contacted Tina? WIll you be using her camper? It REALLY IS a great solution to hauling across the country, and has so many other advantages....I may becoming a life-long customer of hers!
