Renting 1 or 2 BD Hotel/Condo Help

Hey,

My dad, uncle, and aunt are all looking to go down to disney world in a couple of weeks and they were looking for a place to stay. They are all older (in their 60s) so they do not need anything fancy nor do they need to be surrounded by kids. They are looking to rent a 1 or 2 bedroom hotel rooms/condos/etc. with a kitchen in or near the Orlando area for about 5 days.

Do you have any good/cheap recommendations for 1 or 2 bedroom with kitchens? Are there good deals out there?

We just stayed at the Hawthorne Suites near Universal. A one-bedroom suite had two Queen-sized beds, a sleeper sofa, a nice enough kitchen with a fridge/ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and range (no oven). That included free beer and wine in the afternoon and breakfast each day.

Staybridge suites are similar and, of course, Homewood, but Homewood always seems to be a bit more. Your family could check the sites for those places and check Expedia for possibly better deals. I hope they have a wonderful time.

I'd get a 2-bedroom condo at Windsor Palms. Look for one of the 1st floor if mobility is an issue.

The other option, which would likely be cheaper, is to go through SkyAuction. I haven't used them recently, but we have previously booked with them and stayed in a 2-bedroom unit at Orbit One 3 times and loved it, especially at less than $50/nite.
