I rented points from a member (I'm a non- member) for a reservation at BWV. On my confirmation letter is says:
this reservation was confirmed for:
My Name
then it says:
"address required upon arrival"

What does that mean? Will they just want my home address when I check in?

Thanks for your help.

By the way, I'm new at this: do I just check in at the BWV, show them my confirmation letter and that's it? What about any extra charges like room service? Am I just responsible for them at check out ? How does that work?

They will need your home address when you check in. They may ask for an ID...a driver's license is fine.

You'll need a valid credit card in order to charge to your room. They will settle charges to your credit card at check out.

Have a great time!

They will just ask for your address when you check in. They will ask you if you want to swipe a credit card when you check in for any room charging, (Disney Rest., park tickets, merchandise in the parks, etc...)They'll give you about a $1500 credit limit, unless you need more. When you check in, they'll ask you if you want express check out. When you check out, they will slide a bill under your door, with any charges you may have had during your' stay. Check to see if they charge for things like valet or the Gym, (DVC members get these free). If everything checks out, that's it. They will charge your credit card.

As a non member staying on rented points, will I get the health club for free too?

Will they ask for any id?

Phone calls from the room - are there any charges if I use a prepaid phone card?

I rented points too. It seems like check-in is the same as if you were checking in to any other WDW hotel, right?

Check-in is the same as any WDW hotel. As a "guest" of a DVC member you are entitled to all perks that a DVC member gets, including the ability to "pool hop". Officially, if you are renting you are not entitled to the same perks :(. IMO, if you are renting I just wouldn't mention the fact that you paid for the points to the CM. I don't think they'll ask.

I cannot remember the phone rates for DVC members, but I do recall they are different than at regular WDW resorts. I just don't pay attention to that kind of thing anymore since I have a cell phone.
