Hello everyone!

Planning a trip for October with my husband, my parents and my 2 1/2 year old daughter and 3 month old son.

Looking to rent a Chicco double stroller- the Chicco Cortina Together Double Stroller- that accepts the Key Fit 30 carrier. Anyone know of a company that carries this stroller for rental? My search has yielded no results.

I would imagine you are going to be out of luck for that one. You might research to see if the baby jogger citi mini's accept that carrier as they are the most common rented stroller or if you must have that stroller, bring your own. Honestly, I would not use that stroller at WDW unless I was driving. Also what about wearing the little one and just renting a single?

The rental companies don't carry that stroller its mostly the baby jogger model. The best you can do as far as a tandem is www.abbf.com but it will not be the chicco. If you are planning to use the infant carseat in the parks and for extend periods of time it is not recommended b/c of the positioning the baby, there is another thread here about it I will see if I can find it and post. I would look into renting the city mini double since it is suitable for infants, and also look into bringing an ergo, patapum, or beco soft carrier for use in lines when you can't have the stroller and also for the buses if that will be your mode of transportation.

this is a thread that someone recently posted about that stroller and it is actually the same one that discusses the use of the carseat. hth

Most all rental strollers will need the attachment for the seat if you decide to go that route. Which means you will have to buy it and bring it with you. Another option you may want to look into it the maclaren twin techno check craigslist you may be able to find one used for a decent price as well as on ebay.

So funny that you posted this! I am the person that posted the thread about "My stroller is like pushing a hotdog cart!" :rotfl:

All laughs aside, it really is a pain in the butt to manuever. We are going in less than a week and have children same age as you....2.5 yr old son and 3 month old son. We are bringing ours bc we have it and DH doesn't even want to consider renting something else bc we spent a lot of money on this thing. He will be the one folding and getting on and off buses...not me. We figure it is easier than bringing 2 strollers. Something to consider that I tried out after posting this on DIS....3 month old does not need to be in keyfit carseat in stroller. We've been having our son ride in stroller without seat. We figure the stroller will be a hassle enough....no need to bring carseat as it will add to frustration and will make baby hot.

So, if you can avoid it, don't rent or buy cortina double. If anything buy the citi-mini that sooo many ppl rant and rave about...or rent it for trip and then decide on purchase.

Hope this helps with your decision!;)

Might try walkersmobility and ask them or go on allears.net as they have a stroller add on there :confused3

O yea, and just picture my DH PUSHING IT...not me...LOL:rotfl:

I wanted to rent something else, but he insists it will be ok....
