Rental Homes close to Universal/SW?

I am exploring the possiblility of rental a home versus a hotel room for an August stay (April got bumped to August time frame due to school issue for me)

Anyway, we are kicking around the idea of Discovery Cove and Universal.

Most rental homes look off of 192, but am wondering if there are anything closer.

Any ideas for a good location?

Hello...there are many home rentals as you come east on 192 from Highway 27. Locations in include Lindfields, Emerald Island, Oak Island, Formosa Gardens and others. The rental homes stop about 2 miles west of the Disney entrance on 192 and there really are no housing developements in the Sea World or Universal area....lots and lots of condos, but no homes very close...hope this helps...Ted
