Do I have any hope of finding a good rate for 7/26-8/1? I'm usually on top of this stuff, since we usually book a few months out, but decided yesterday that we're going.

As of now, I think Budget had the best rate (looking for midsize or bigger), but their site is currently down (I think I had it at $280 for a midsize?)

Any nudge in the right direction is appreciated!

TIA!

This close in, if you're not picky about company, i'd give Priceline a shot and start some bids. See if you can get anything cheaper than listed.

Best I can find for your dates through a rental agency I'd actually use, Midsize, is $195 all in with Advantage Car Rental ($186 with AAA discount), onsite at MCO. They're owned by Hertz now and are actually quite competitive on rates. I'd reserve this and then try Priceline to find something better.

Thank you so much. I checked Advantage (they had a good rate for an SUV too) so I used the rate and put a bid in with Priceline. Fingers crossed (it's still processing!)

If it's not accepted, I'll probably just book with them :)

This is seriously the hardest part of vacation!

I got 178.23 with Advantage using Promo Code 1884441 for a medium car for your dates.

Ooh thanks! I went with the medium SUV for $232 since that seemed like a good price for a medium SUV. We have a baby now, and I think we'll need the room :)
