Please post what rates your getting on rental cars at Orlando airport. Company, type car, rate, codes,,, that sort of thing. Everything I see is soooooo high. Even when using codes I found on here it is still high. Thanks :bounce:

You should give us an idea of when you are going and what size car you want to help us determine why you are getting such high rates...

My rate is with National as an Emerald Club member. I used the Disney Club discount and coupon. My grand total for a Full size for a week (Nov 30 - Dec 7) is $111.00.

I checked everyday until I got a really good rate. It started out at over $200. when I started looking in January.

It's onsite.

www.mousesavers.com has lots of great codes or coupons you can try.

I also like Alamo and Dollar for onsite rental companies. They, too, sometimes have good rates and discounts/coupons.

We are going June 23-July1/ 2003. Any car between compact to full size is fine,,just want to get a decent deal. Thanks

Well, I think it's because of the time you are going and for the extra day.

Go to www.mousesavers.com and try some of the codes.

I just tried one example for you at National with the Carlson Wagonlit travel agency contract code I got from that website and also with a BJ's Wholesale Club coupon and got this:

Actually, what you need to do is what we all do: run every code for every car rental agency there is. Go to the site Beatty Family suggested and work from there. We share the info from our work here, and we don't do the work for you. :)

July for 2 weeks got minivan for $199 a week through Dollar. I got the code off of mousesavers.

Whe I first read your post I thought it was $199 for 2 weeks:earseek:

I went to mousesavers and used the codes there to get a good rate but it says you can also get an upgrade with Fastlane. How do you sign up for Dollar's Fastlane program if you are not traveling for business? It keeps asking for Company name.

They just want where you work. It does not matter what you join for.

Thanks Gail. We usually drive down so I don't often rent cars so this is all new to me.

Be sure to check Budget... they have a couple of specials which are right on their website....$119.00 compacts and only $139.00 for medsize car or suv. Those are great rates!
