Rental Cars in Terminal at LAX?

Currently we have a rental reserved with Dollar. According to Expedia, Dollar is listed as having the rental counter in the airport, but having to take a shuttle to the car which is listed on Arbor Vitae Street. Are there any rentals that have the car in the terminal and therefore avoid a shuttle? I hate the shuttle stuff - its such a hassle. I'd pay extra to have to have a car that we can immediately get to.

Sorry, I think you're going to have to shuttle at LAX.

We used Dollar last trip and found it to be really quick and easy... both picking up the car and returning it.

Thats what I thought. I was hoping that there was at least one or two rentals that have their cars in the terminal. Can anyone tell me how long of a shuttle ride this is? We're returning the car to LAX and have a super early flight home. I want to be able to allow enough time to return and shuttle back to the terminal.

Next time, I'm flying into SNA or San Diego...oh well, live and learn.
