Rental Cars for large families

i would go with a minivan if i was you they have the town and country that might work

Possibly a large SUV or fullsize van.

Depending upon what you're doing and if you have 2 drivers, you may find it less expensive to rent two midsize cars...that would also give you the flexibility to split the group at times. Big downside to that is theme park parking cost.

Our family of 6 has rented many times (in different locations) and a minivan is always cheaper than an SUV, in part because you have to go all the way up to a Suburban size to fit 6/7 and their luggage.

Presuming you just need transport in and around Orlando, 7 people close together in a minivan isn't bad. Might need a couple things on laps with trunk space, but much better than if you were driving 400 miles together. And a minivan parks much more easily than an SUV.

I would get the 7 seater minivan or a standard SUV, but consider sending some of the group to the resort on Magic Express, WITH most of the luggage. (are you staying onsite?)

7 people in a minivan is fine, but 7 people with 7 people PLUS their luggage seems difficult to me. Although, before Magic Express, we did 6 plus a large Convaid (like a WC) chair, which was the same as 7 people space wise, and made it to the resort. Luggage on laps, between the seats, you get the idea. The Toyota Sienna as great, large are in back behind 3rd row.

Only two which can hold 7 people and there luggage while maintaining comfort.

The Ford Expedition EL can also work but has a slightly smaller interior dimension than the suburban.

It's what I use every year for 7/8 persons as well as about 14 pieces of luggage. This year we have 8 confirmed, with a possibility of 2 more in group, so I have 2 minivans/suv's booked to give everyone room to stretch out.
