Rental Cars close to Port Orleans - Riverside

I need help please ..... finding a decent Standard/Mid Size car rental rates for July 28 to August 5 (return at Fort Myers airport).

After 7 days stay at WDW - Port Orleans this coming July; we will not fly out of Florida yet but will move on to other parts of the state.

My questions:

1. Do I choose a rental company with branches close to Port Orleans or
should we go back to MCO ? Airport tend to have more choices in cars.

2. If we end up finding a good deal from MCO, can we take the magic express bus back to the airport, luggages included even if we are not flying out yet ? We need to get back to the airport to pickup rental car.

How are the luggages handled ?

Alamo has an office at the Car Care Center on property. They even offer free pick up at your resort. Also if you a costco member they offer a great discount rate. The best I've found so far. Also of note Dollar rent a car has an office at the old Grovesner Hotel right across the street from DTD. The Dolphin or Swan also have a rental car office but I'm not sure of the company so you have options.
