rental car

We are going to the world on June 7. Would I be better off to wait to reserve a car, for a better price, or just rent one now.

HI, I would try to rent something ASAP and then check EVERY DAY for a better rate. YOu can always rebook and then cancel your previous reservation. I have already started looking for the last two weeks in July and prices are HIGH! I hope they will come down soon!! But in my own experience the rental companies are always playing with their pricing! So keep checking! Joan

I would agree with booking one now. I have one booked for my July 1 trip, and keep checking for a good deal. Right now they are through May, so I know that they will be coming. But I would rather have one already reserved and make a change than end up without one at all. That happened to us a year ago December because I waited too long!

Always book a rental car as soon as you know your dates. There is no penalty for canceling and making a new reservation if you find a better rate. Our trip is May 2-12 and I reserved a car with Alamo last Sept 20 with a code I found online. I have been checking ever since and have not found a better rate.
