Rental car

Does anyone know the closest rental car to LAX, I booked National but I have to take a shuttle to go get the car, is there any in the airport itself?

all the rental cars are off property.. They all offer a free shuttle to and from the airport.
Usually about 5 minutes away. You just exit the airport and go to the middle island and there are signs for where the rental car companies pick people up.
