I am in a dilemma of what the best course of action will be, we are arriving in Orlando on June 17, prior to checking in for 3 days at HRH(on 6/22) we are staying in a time share so we will have a rental car, here is what we need to decide, would it be better to turn in our rental car when we check into HRH and take another service to disney(we are taking Magical Express back to the airport) I am asking this due to the 20.00 parking charge as we do not use our car when we are onsite, or do you think it would cost more to get transportation for 5 of us from universal to disney where we can turn our car in at the car care center. Thanks for any advice you can give

How many nights are you staying at HRH? Your car rental rate may already be considered a weekly rental therefore returning it or keeping it may not effect your rate.

Is the parking fee comparable to what it would cost to get to Disney? If yes keep the car.

I was going to return my car when we arrived at RPR, but decided against it since the cost of a cab to the airport would have been more then two days of parking. A private car / shuttle would have been more too.

As someone who doesn't worry about rental cars and hotels since I live here, I'll give you my take. I would suggest returning the car since you are staying onsite at Universal and as you said you won't need it. I would then take a cab or Mears shuttle when heading to Disney. By not having the car at HRH, you're saving the $60.00 parking fee and can use that money towards the cost of transportation to Disney. Again...this is from a locals point of view so take it for what it's worth. ;)

Is parking now $20 for resort guests? Yikes! I thought it was $15. Makes me even happier that we are again using a car service again this summer.
