Planning on Disney before cruise out of Miami. Are there rental car companies with locations nearby that will shuttle you to port after dropping off car as there are near Port Canaveral? Also, may be using FLL as departure airport. Looks like $95 will get you private/express ride to there from port....anyone else done this? Did it work well? Thanks!

I am renting at Miami Airport. They run shuttles back and forth.

Also, if you are a Costco member, try renting through them. I got a Full Size for $36.00 (including tax) leaving from Miami Intl and dropping at Fort Lauderdale Intl.

We did this in April and it was even easier than we anticipated. We stayed 2 nights at BCV and reserved a car with Alamo at the Dolphin for the evening prior to cruise. (Check office hrs if you're not picking up at MCO.)
We took the bus back to Dolphin from MK instead of returning to our resort, got the car and kept it overnight. In the am we had a big breakfast then drove to MIA's big car rental center which is slightly off site. We dropped off the car and Alamo offers a free shuttle to the port. They did check our rental agreement and even verified the little receipt they give you when returning a car. I guess some ppl try to scam a free ride.

Alamo makes tolls easy peasy. There is a tag on their license plates so we could use the Sun Pass lanes and they billed our cc later. I think it was $12 total. We did not have to book this or request it. All their cars are equipped with it.
We flew home via FLL and used a shared ride shuttle. Only $15 pp but it made multiple hotel stops before I finally spoke up that we would miss our 1:30 flight if we keep stopping. I wrongly assumed all shuttle passengers would go to same airport. Many were staying locally post cruise.
To plan it again I would def pay more for a private ride.

We rented with Alamo through Costco and returned the car at Miami airport (after driving down from WDW). Alamo had a shuttle (as mentioned above you must show your rental paperwork to board the bus). The signage on the bus was for Alamo and Enterprise. Very easy ride to the port.

On the return we were renting a car at MIA to drive to West Palm Beach so we did express walk off the ship and got the shuttle back to MIA (again had to show our rental paperwork) and picked up our car. Hint, if you plan on picking up a car at MIA and have a reservation then use the Kiosk. When we arrived the line at the counter had over 100 people on it (no joke). A rep asked us if we already had a reservation and when we said yes he directed us to the kiosk and we were on our way in a few minutes. Did not have to wait on the line at all.
