We will be at WDW from 4/5-4/10 and are debating whether to rent a car or just use one of the town car services you all talk about. We hadn't even considered renting a car until some friends of ours said that they always do. Any feelings on this?
Thanks, as always,

If you don't plan on going off-site during your trip, I wouldn't bother with the rental car. Also if you really wanted a car for just a day or two you can rent them right at the Dolphin resort or the Car care center located outside the Magic Kingdom.

Alamo

But if you don't plan on going off-site then I'd just stick with the town car. We used Fl Tours for the first time this past trip and loved it. It was so nice to be able to just get off the plane and have someone waiting right there for us. No standing in the rental lines etc... Disney transportation is top notch so once your on-site you'll have no worries.

Hope that helped!

I too am a big fan of towncars. Whenever we are staying on Disney property, or maybe just venturing to Universal from WDW, we use Happy Limo to get to and from Disney World and then use internal transportation to get around. I am very lazy when I am on vacation and prefer to be chauffered.
The only time I rent a car is if I am staying offsite and doing a lot of different things in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. In that case, I get a rental from Priceline. But I hate having to find a parking spot and all the other hassles.

We usually try to leave WDW during the weekend.. either visit the rellies or do Universal. Next trip we will rent a condo at Daytona or Clearwater just to relax and fry on the beach..

When we are planning things out, the cost comparison for a 3 day weekend rental plus RT limo is maybe 20 to 30 bucks less than a nine day rental. We prefer to spend a few extra bucks just for the convenience.. we don't feel so limited in what we can do then either. One taxi ride can wipe out any savings, plus.. you end up waiting on them!

So.. if you don't plan on leaving, I agree that a limo is the way to go, I ran your dates thru Budget.. ouch! Limo is the way to go!
