Rental Car or Taxi (all wrapped up in a dining question).

Going to Orlando, starting at RPR, then moving to Disney. I have price a rental car (fullsize, pick up at MCO and drop off at the Car Care Center) and taxi (MCO to RPR and RPR to POR) and the prices are just about the same. Before the question is asked, we have to have a fullsize car due to DH's size.

Anyway, the main difference is that we will also have to pay for parking at RPR with the rental. The only way I can see to justify this is if we leave the property at night to find better/cheaper food. So, are there any decent places fairly close to RPR that would make it worth renting the car?

There's a stretch of road called "Restaurant Row" that is only a few minutes from Universal. There are a ton of places to eat. But there are some great restaurants on property. You probably don't need to leave, but I'd think having the option to is nice. It's really a matter of preference.
