Rental car from pof or rp cost for a day anyone know?

Has anyone ever rented a car for a day from one of the hotels and what did it cost? We go in june.

I hope someone answers this, because we plan on renting a car from RP for one day to go to KSC on July 4th.
I know there's a Hertz at RP and that the earliest they open, according to the website, is 10 am. I'm hoping we'll be able to get a car earlier than that time. From what I've read on their site, we're budgeting about $60 for a medium size car for the day. But if anyone has ever actually rented a day car at RPH, please tell us what the rates were. Thanks!!

I have another question to add - Can we rent a car at RP and return it to the Tampa airport? We are getting a ride to USF with my sister who lives in Tampa but they are leaving 2 days earlier than we are.
