Rental Car Companies with a shuttle TO the Port of Miami??

We will be flying into FLL a couple of days prior to our cruise and were thinking about just getting a rental car at the airport and returning it to their location that is nearest to the Port of Miami. Do you all know of any of the rental car companies that will provide a free shuttle to the port, after we drop off the car?

We used Dollar in this scenario and it worked well. The shuttle was quick and painless, and this was with a party of 8.

So you returned your car here and they took you all to the port? Was there a cost?

We arrive at Ft Lauderdale on a Friday night and rented the car there. Actually we had to take a shuttle to get it offsite. We kept it for the day Saturday and returned it in Miami Sunday morning, the morning of the cruise. The return office was minutes from the port and Dollar provided a shuttle to the port at no extra charge. I believe when we booked we had to specifically choose the "port" option for drop off location even though it is actually in downtown Miami.

We have used Alamo 3 times. Drop off is at Miami airport, and they take you to the port, no problems!

We have dropped off to Alamo, National and Thrifty at MIA and they have had a free shuttle to/from the port. Sometimes they have asked to see rental paperwork when boarding the shuttle.
