Rental car at John Wayne Airport/Orange County?

We are flying into John Wayne airport for our trip to Disneyland this year. What is the best rental car company at the airport? Are there many to choose from? We will need the car for a week and will return it to the same airport. We would definitely like to get the best deal available but want a decent car as well. Any suggestions?

We rented from Budget at SNA. They all seemed fine to me, all have desks right at the terminal, though we got there after 10pm and apparently after hours you need to go to the garage. I thought location wise they are all about the same. Maybe someone else can weigh in.

I got a great deal through costco.com, I just went with the cheapest one.

I can't remember what company we had but we got a great deal through hotwire. the car was nice too. we didn't want fancy...just drive to the hotel and back! (and in n out!!) all of the rental car places are close together. it's a small airport.

We used priceline. They are all together and seem pretty nice. SNA is a nice airport so as long as you pick one of the major rental companies I think you should just go with the best deal.

I've used Orbitz, Expedia, and Costco for decent deals. I don't really have a preference on company. As long as it's located in the terminal and is a good price, I'm happy.

My Dh used Expedia last week to book ours at SNA......We ended up with Alamo because their price was 50% less than everyone else.

We need a van/SUV that will seat 7...and are picking up at John Wayne and dropping at Phoenix Sky Harbor....so our prices were a bit higher.

We usually use Hertz with DH's ABA discount, but we found Alamo to have a WAY better rate. I booked through Costco, so I also got a discounted rate, free 2nd driver, etc. We ended up with a minivan for a week this summer for $330 + tax. Granted, though, we did book back in March, and I know rates have since gone up.

Does anyone know anything about Thrifty there? It looks like it has the lowest rate by far. Are the cars onsite or a shuttle? Any information would be great.

I'm pretty sure we've used Thrify before. I've never had a bad car rental experience there so it must have been okay.
