Rental car at care care center or Swan/Dolphin?

I have friends going down in about 3 weeks. This is there 2nd trip ever... first was about 11 years ago or more. They want to spend a day over at universal and won't have a rental car for the trip. I thought that you could rent a car at the car care center by the MK or at either the Swan or Dolphin. Thought perhaps they could do this for one day. Anyone with any info or experience with this? Thanks a bunch!

There is National and Alamo at the Dolphin. I have dropped off one-way rentals at the Dolphin as well as picked-up one-way rentals there. The office opens at 8 a.m., so your friends will need a reservation, and it's best to be there a little before 8, because there could be a line. There isn't a shuttle to the Dolphin, as there is to the Car Care Center.
