rental car advice needed please!

I am a newbie to Disney and I have never rented a car before, so I need your help!!

We will be flying into Sanford, so will need transportation to CSR. I can get a full size car from Alamo thru Allegiant for $219. But it says taxes and fees not included.
First Question: What exactly does that mean??? Are they going to charge me the $219 when I book and then an outrageous amount in taxes and fees when I pick up the car?

Second Question: Is this a good price? Pick up June 12, return June 19.

THird Question: Which is the better value? Rental - $219+taxes&fees+gas+tolls
OR
a car hire - approx $200 + tip + cabs for ADRs (apprx $60)

Taxes will run around 60. to 70.00. I just prices rental w/Alamo and the cost was 293. and the taxes were additional 85.00. You should be able to see final price before booking so you know exactly what cost is.

I always book my car as soon as I know. Then I watch for coupon codes and specials up until we leave. Alamo's coupons only go through June 4 right now, so they will have something later. I've started out with $200 + car rentals and dropped down to under 100.00 just by checking everyday or so.

We like having rental car, because it makes it mch easier and faster to get around. Since buses don't go resort to resort (and we always have adrs at other resorts) you don't have to transfer from bub to bus to get where your going. Better value is rental car.

I just did a search on Hotwire and you can get a car for those dates for around $170 all taxes included. The catch with Hotwire is that you don't know the rental company until you agree to buy. It is always a big name, reputable company.
