I read on here about limo service ?

Anything else ?

Be sure to check out hotwire, priceline, etc as the time gets closer.

People have recently mentioned this guy like crazy. I've never used him and doubt I would (limos aren't my "thing", too prommy for me) but others have recommended him.

For taxis, I'd google "anaheim taxi" and find the sites, and see if you can arrange something.

There's also supershuttle.

The choice of airports is so great for DLR, but we do all have to include the price of transportation when figuring the cost of the flights... I remember saving money flying into ONT, but didn't realize how much cheaper Supershuttle would have been from LAX or SNA...though they were the same as ONT, and really messed up doing that. Could have had about the same total price but saved *time* flying into SNA.

I use to priceline a car got it for 6 days tax and everything 120.00 now it seems they are running almost 293.00 for the same time.

Im not sure supershuttle goes to long beach?

shuttle service...... pick up drop off?

Did you check with Dollar? I've been checking rates for 18 days in June for several months and Dollar has always been the cheapest and it still keeps going down. The other companies are just down right crazy, I totally agree!!

LGB is on their list of airport options. They even pick up at private homes...they go wherever.

Just be sure to choose the hotel, NOT the zipcode of the area, as your non airport option. Zipcode gives a higher price than choosing the hotel.

We used Kim Sontha Transportation when we went into LGB in November. They picked us up at the baggage claim in a black suv. They picked us up from our hotel at our arranged time in a similar suv. It was $50 each way

dollar is not at the airport or even close to long beach

I can usually get great rates on rentals in California, flying into LAX, Santa Ana, Burbank and San Diego. Just do Priceline, and offer a low daily rate (usually I do about 13 bucks). Normally, you'll get an email that an agent has accepted your offer, or if none have, they will tell you the lowest rate they'll take and you can book it at that price if you want. While driving in Cali is often a grueling experience, I much prefer the flexibility having a car offers. Good luck, whatever way you end up going.

I like having a car also and I started trying priceline but my offer was too low. Im not going to pay 300 bucks for a rental.

I just got a mid-size car through priceline for 17.00 a day for five days. With taxes it was around 127.00 total. We are renting it from LAX. Keep trying on priceline. I was surprised when my offer was accepted. The suggested price was around 30.00 a day or more I can't remember.

I would contact the hotel you are staying at and ask them. I know LAX & SNA airports have a shuttle service that goes from the airport to the area hotels for like $15 each way and of course you can use the ART while at the hotel to go to Disneyland so really no need to rent a car.

We rented a car for the day from Alamo at Long Beach airport and returned it to the desk at DTD. Picked up from DTD for the return trip to the airport. It was less expensive than the limo ride. We found the same as you, that the rental cars for the week were exhorbitantly expensive, but the one day price was right around $20 so not bad.

Here's the address from alamo's site:

When are you going? Keep checking. I got a thing from Hotwire today that some are down to $12. I remember in September I got a minivan for $15. They run loss leader sales all the time. Thrifty was who ran the $15 sale. If you are just going from airport to hotel and back again, I would not buy the extra insurance, that's where they make their $$. If you JUST get the cheapo deal and no insurance, you can really get a deal.
