Rent a car for 1 day and stay at Disney Resort

I plan on getting a 1 bedroom villa at the Disney Resort. I'd like to use the full kitchen and have some food in my room for when the family does not eat in the parks. I am thinking about renting a car for one day when we arrive at Orlando Airport so that I can stop by a grocery store and buy food for the week. What would be the best way to rent a car for a day, return the car, and get back to my resort? We don't want to rent a car for the whole trip.

Rent from Alamo. They have 2 rental locations on Disney property and when you turn the car in they will take you back to your resort.

Instead of renting a car just to get groceries I would order from Garden Grocer and they will deliver your order to the room. You can place the order before you arrive at Disney and it will be in your room when you arrive.

I second the Garden Grocer idea. We've used them and the service was great. Don't waste any of your valuable WDW vacation time in a grocery store!

Thanks for the tips! We had a party back out of going, so it is going to be a studio for us. Garden Grocer looks great!
