Renovated Polynesian rooms - deluxe studio or pool view room, which would you prefer and why?

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 girls under 13). Which would you prefer at the Poly, a renovated villa studio with murphy bed or a renovated pool view room? Keep in mind, I sometimes have a difficult time sleeping or I go to sleep later, so which room might suit me best? Also, does anyone know when all the renovations for the DVC poly studio rooms will be complete? Overall, if you have stayed in both the villas (renovated Poly or similar with murphy bed at another hotel) and regular rooms, what are the pros and cons of each?

Personally, I’d picked the Studio. Having two showers will help you tremendously in the mornings getting ready. The two adults will have their shower, and the kids their own.

The only con of the studio, in my opinion, is the Murphy bed as opposed to the queen in the pool view room. However the Murphy bed is very comfortable.

The mattresses on the queen-sized Murphy beds are real mattresses. People have this misconception that they are not real mattresses.

I think some see the solid base and assume extra firm, but most of the “regular” beds are on a solid base now too.

IDK if people see having to pull it down as a drawback - I get that if everyone is mobility challenged or height challenged, but for most people it should not be a problem.

I seem to be in the minority but I felt the Murphy bed mattresses were a piece of plywood back on 10/1.

Definite difference from the regular bed in the room? Even though that has no box spring either?

Definitely different from the main bed. I could have been the first or one of the first few people to sleep on the new Murphy so it was brand new. I slept better in previous fold out couch.
