Renfroe family returns to WDW for first time in 5 years!

Good to "see" you back on the DIS!! I posted a few times on your last TR and concidentally Rosie (englishrosie47) and I just returned from a girls trip and we were talking about you and the DISmeet she was part of (she explained the whole "Team Focker" watch to me.. I remember the pix you posted - that was a big DISmeet!!

We also were able to meet up with Kathy and Mark!

Wow, your kids are young adults now!! Will look forward to following along.

P.S. So you are a celebrity now, huh? Stacy following Team Renfroe!! yay!!

Hi Janet! So good to "see" you again as well! Can you believe how the time has flown by? and you're right...my kids are young adults for sure! Fortunately, they've turned out to be fine young adults and I'm proud of both of them for sure!

Yeah, I found Stacey on Twitter yesterday and followed. I totally didn't expect her to follow me...so that was pretty cool!

Yay! Mary is here! Good to see you! I'm going to post a picture of our Mammoth May Meet for any of our new readers! Gosh yes, those kiddos are practically grown. Time has gone by so quickly.

I know right! It's really hard to believe that it will have been five years since our last trip by the time we go on this one. Wil is about to be 17 years old and will be going into his Senior year of high school! Juliana is now 14 and she now says she wants to ride everything...all the big rides! Anyway, so glad to "see" you here and I'm so happy to be planning another trip to Disney World!

For those of you who haven't read my past trip reports, we had a huge DISmeet in May 2009 in the France pavilion at Epcot! Over 25 DISers and their families got together and had a great time meeting! Here are a few pictures from that event....

Already making a few changes, but this plan is coming together! Here is the updated plan:

Thursday, May 29:
Leave after work, drive 6 hours to Valdosta, GA
Fast food dinner on the road
Arrive in Valdosta around 10:30pm, check into hotel

Friday, May 30:
Check out of hotel in Valdosta around 8am and drive to WDW, arrive around 11:30am.
Lunch at Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney
Go to Animal Kingdom for a few hours in the afternoon
Pick up afternoon FP+ for Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest, Primeval Whirl
Leave AK and check into Port Orleans Riverside around 4pm
Get in about an hour of pool time, then get ready for dinner
Take river boat to Downtown Disney
Dinner at Raglan Road at 7:30pm

Saturday, May 31:
Park = Epcot
Lunch at Coral Reef at 12:15pm
Dinner at Ohana at 6:45pm

Sunday, June 1:
Park = Magic Kingdom
Lunch for Wil and me at Tony's Town Square @ 12:15pm (it's our tradition)
Lunch for Elizabeth and Juliana at The Wave @ 12:15pm
Dinner at Boatwright's @ 7:30pm

Monday, June 2:
Sleep in, then go to Typhoon Lagoon
Lunch at quick service @ Typhoon Lagoon
Get FP+ for 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm at DHS
Dinner at Olivia's Cafe at 7:55pm

Tuesday, June 3:
Park = Animal Kingdom
Lunch at Yak & Yeti @ 12:00pm
Dinner at California Grill @ 7:45pm (celebrating our 19-year wedding anniversary)
Watch Wishes from atop the Contemporary

Wednesday, June 4:
Park = Disney's Hollywood Studios
Lunch at Sci-Fi @ 12:10pm
Leave DHS after lunch and go to Blizzard Beach for the afternoon
Dinner at Captain's Grille @ 6:45pm

Thursday, June 5:
Check out of Port Orleans Riverside
Go to rope drop at Magic Kingdom
Lunch reservations have been made at Liberty Tree Tavern @ 11:50, however we intend to try to get a FP+ for Be Our Guest for lunch. If so we will cancel the LTT reservation
Leave WDW around 3pm
Drive North, eat on the road, get a hotel room, drive on home on Friday morning

Love the pictures of the Mega DIS meet. They are so fun. I cannot believe how different Cayley and Avery look since that picture.

Yes, Mary and I will be together. This will be our third "girls" only trip after Mark and I met her in 2010 and then hooked up with her and Jeff and the girls again in 2011. We did our first one January 2012, May/June of this year and now May/June in 2014. We will definitely have to see if our park days coordinate at any time once I start our PTR.

Love the pix of the MMM !!! That was soooo much fun Since then I have been doing my Free Trips every October , with a group of Developmentally Disabled !! I did do aall girls trip this month and for the first time saw the Christmas decorations which were wonderful!!Every trip I eat at Raglan Road , I love it , they have such a great menu and the food is so good !!I saw Mary Az and Kathy this month in Disney !! You should try for another huge meet , I already see a few who will b there the same time . I have to start my Tr ., but have so little time due to the season !!!

Yeah I think I've got about 40 pictures from that DisMeet in my 2009 trip report. It was a lot of fun!

I know right! I was as giddy as a school girl when I saw Stacey was actually following me on Twitter!

Yeah we love Raglan Road...the food and the atmosphere. I'm of Irish heritage, so I'm all about that place! How great that you got to see Mary Az and Kathy this month!

It may be a small milestone, but it's a milestone nonetheless. Today is 159 days to go....which means that I'm now in double digits (99) until its time to make FP+ registrations! But of course I've still got to actually book the trip first! Keeping our fingers crossed that discounts will be posted later this week and if so I'll go ahead and book the trip.
